Oscar’s American Brasserie

The muffin was stale and mushy — a clear 3. The hollandaise was salty but a beautiful color. Russet potatoes with onions were the high point. Canadian bacon was fine, slightly watery, without much taste.

A side of grilled tomatoes and baby asparagus came along for the ride. Somewhere in the room, wisdom was dispensed: “Dead heroes don’t save lives. Period. New paragraph.”
