Odeon’s pan roasted filet mignon au poivre with dauphinoise potatoes was a nice presentation: a triangular-cut filet served with broccoli, watercress, and creamy au gratin potatoes.
The filet was nicely buttery, but not excellent. The meat was a slightly mealy, without much flavor. The Chante Cigale Châteauneuf-du-Pape ’98 was slightly bitter.
