Chinese New Year’s at Puck Fair, for Benedictine eggs. Hollandaise held at 5, ham at 5, eggs at 6. Thick-cut fries were nicely crisp. The muffins lagged.
They used to run a very good Irish Breakfast special — eggs, bacon, sausage, blood sausage, and mushrooms. An extraordinarily ugly wall recounts the history of the Puck Fair, “when old King Puck reigns in Killorglin town.”
Have not gone back since they started charging $10 for a pint of Guinness. Insulting.
